The South Korea Flag was adopted on February 21st, 1984. The white background stands for the national color, white. The center circle is Yin and Yang. Yin and Yang represent unity and co-operation. The four trigrams stand for heaven, south, summer, moon, west, autumn, water, sun, east, spring, and fire. The black shows justice.
