This is the Alabama Heart of Dixie License Plate Auto Tag. This plate contains the Alambama Heart of Dixie Flag. This flag, used prior and during the Civil War, had the Alabama Flag on it with the words, Heart of Dixie, on it. Dixie was a slang term for the South, so this meant that Alabama was the main area or ?heart? of the South.
