This is made to U.S. Government specifications, and the dimensions match the official government ratio for the flag of the United States. The cotton fabric has been processed for outdoor use and to give it greater capacity to absorb dye. This makes the the colors brighter and gives them even greater resistance to the weather, keeping them bright and unchanged over time. The treatment increases strength, smoothness, and resistance to mildew. This flag has embroidered stars and fully sewn stripes. The grommets are solid brass. The extra rugged 2-ply weave provides longer life.
