In Honor of General Colin Powell,
Colin Powell was born April 5, 1937 and was best know as former Secretary of State Colin Powell for George Bush. Leading the administration after Sept 11 attacks building the alliance for the War on Terror. He built the case for the invasion of Iraq in March of 2003 that put an end to the Sadam Hussein regime.

General Colin Powell was a patriot of unmatched honor and dignity. The son of immigrants, born in New York City, raised in Harlem and the South Bronx, a graduate of the City College of New York, he rose to the highest ranks of the United States military and to advise four Presidents. He believed in the promise of America because he lived it. And he devoted much of his life to making that promise a reality for so many others. He embodied the highest ideals of both warrior and diplomat.
Today, in accordance with the President’s proclamation, all flags on public buildings and grounds should be be lowered to half-staff in remembrance and as a mark of respect for the life and service of General Colin Powell and remain at half-staff until sunset, October 22, 2021…
