This is a handcrafted American made flag of our toughest, most durable and long-lasting nylon fabric, with solid brass grommets made by a top US Flag manufacturer. The stripes are sewn (not printed), and the stars are appliqued (sewn onto the blue fabric). You won’t find nylon flags with higher tensile and tear strength. This flag will fly very well in the wind. It has excellent strength retention under UV exposure, and high resistance to UV fading. The colors are deeper, brighter and last over time, due to the aniline dyeing process.

There is a one inch double edge fold with four rows of stitching on the fly edge. It has 1 1/2 inch reinforced stitching vertically at the fly corners, and 3 1/2 inch reinforced hem stitching (horizontal) at top of bottom of the fly.

California became the 31st state to enter the Union is 1850. The 31 Star USA Flag was used during 1851-1858 (the USA flag with additional stars as states are added become official on the 4th of July following entry). The 31 stars represent the 31 states admitted to the Union at the time.
