The American Indian Movement Flag is a political flag. Some traditional colors make up the background. The American Indian Movement began as an organization in 1968, calling itself the “Trail of Broken Treaties.” The group is active in promoting and “advocating indigenous American interests, inspired cultural renewal, monitored police activities, and coordinated employment programs in cities and in rural reservation communities across the United States.”

Flag was perfect for our display of flags of the nations. It is a thin material but of good quality and the design is clear with distinct lines.
