Made in USA Australian Outdoor Flag
MThe Australia Flag was adopted following a design contest in 1901, the same year Australia gained its autonomy from Britain. As a member of the Commonwealth, the Australia flag retains the British Union Jack in it canton. Below the Union Jack is the single seven-pointed Commonwealth Star. The seven points of the star each represent one of the Australian States. In the fly of the flag is the Southern Cross, a star constellation visible year round in Australia.

This is an American made flag of our toughest, most durable and long-lasting nylon fabric, with solid brass grommets. You won’t find nylon flags with higher tensile and tear strength, yet they fly very well in the wind. This flag has excellent strength retention under UV exposure, and high resistance to UV fading. The colors are deeper, brighter and last over time, due to the aniline dyeing process. This fabric has better wash-fastness and light-fastness than nylons of similar fabric construction. There is a one inch double edge fold with four rows of stitching on the fly edge. It has reinforced stitching vertically and horizontally at the fly corners.
