The Kentucky Flag was adopted on March 26th, 1918. The seal of Kentucky is placed in the center of the Kentucky Flag. Above the seal is the name of the state. Underneath are two branches of the state flower, golden rod. In the seal are two people showing the state motto, United we stand, dived we fall.
