This is an American made flag of our toughest, most durable nylon fabric. Each of the stripes is sewn to the next. The 12×18 inch flag is printed all others are sewn.
The Sons of Liberty groups were organized well before the Revolution, in response to abuses of the rights of American Colonists. The stripes of the Sons of Liberty Flags represented the protesting colonies, beginning with those that rose against the infamous Stamp Act passed by the British Parliament in 1765.
Notable member is Benedict Arnold – businessman, later General in the Continental Army and then as traitor the British Army.

There is a one inch double fold around the edges, with two rows of stitching on the edges. The fly edge has four rows of stitching, and the fly end corners have additional reinforced stitching. The grommets are solid brass.
You won’t find nylon flags with higher tensile and tear strength, yet these fly very well in the wind. This flag has excellent strength retention under UV exposure, and high resistance to UV fading. The colors are deeper, brighter and last over time, due to the aniline dyeing process.

The only place I was able to find this flag in 4×6 with the vertical stripes. After opening the package it went straight onto the flagpole and hasn’t come down in over a year. Rain, snow, heat and 70+mph winds a couple of times. Absolutely bulletproof! No tearing or fraying. The bottom grommet finally wore through, which I fixed. So many questions about its history and meaning from passerby’s. Awesome flag, store and I’m glad to support Florida.
